Porcelain Veneers for Tetracycline Staining
Melissa was given a prescription of tetracycline when she was two years old to treat recurrent ear infections. Unfortunately, the antibiotic stained her teeth internally. Melissa was tired of living with her severely stained and unsightly green-gray teeth that had resulted from tetracycline staining.
Porcelain veneers were placed over Melissa's six upper front teeth. The shade of the veneers was chosen to brighten her smile, but not overwhelm the rest of her teeth, for a natural look.
"I'm just now getting used to smiling without self-consciously putting my fingers over my teeth. I can't wait to do the bottom teeth, too. Every single day, I look into the mirror and I smile…I love my teeth!!"
